Student Leadership
Student Voice Matters at R-STEM
Our student council is a student organization that works together to plan and implement special projects for the school. Examples of past projects include Spirit Week, food drives, coin drives and the read-a-thon.
The Student Council has a president, a vice-president and a secretary from fifth grade. There are also two representatives from each third, fourth and fifth-grade classroom. Elections take place in early November. We meet once or twice each month to coordinate school projects.
Members of the Student Council need to:
- be a good role model
- demonstrate leadership skills
- maintain good grades
- maintain good attendance
