- April 12-16 - Severe Weather Awareness Week - Visit this website to learn more about Severe Weather in Minnesota
- April 13-29 - MCA Testing for In-Person Students
- Reading and Match for third, fourth and fifth-grade students
- Science for all fifth-grade students
- Make sure your child's Chromebook is at STEM to use it for testing
- April 13 - PTO Virtual Meeting (Zoom) at 6:30 p.m.
- April 22 - Earth Day - Visit https://mnearthday.org/ or https://www.earthday.org/ to learn how you can contribute to keep Earth clean and to join Earth Day activities!

MCA Testing
All of our third, fourth and fifth-grade Sparks will take the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) in Reading and Math. Fifth-graders will also take the Science MCA.
These tests will be administered to ALL third, fourth and fifth-grade IN-PERSON students at different days and times beginning April 13-29.

Spirit Week and Spark Blitz
This week was full of fun! R-STEM staff and our Sparks celebrated Spirit Week, and we had a great show in terms of clothing and exemplary behavior from our students!!!

If your child rides the school bus, and you previously used the Ride 360 app, we want you to know that the app is being replaced by a new, updated app called My Ride K-12.

The Minnesota Department of Education released the 2023 graduation rates. We are excited to share that we have made consistent gains in many areas and that Richfield High School’s four-year graduation rate (94.1%) exceeds the statewide graduation rate of 83.3% by 10.8 percentage points.
