Celebrating RPS Retiree Kathie Glick

Two decades of Richfield students have been inspired by the incredible Kathie Glick, who is retiring after 20 years of remarkable service. Kathie’s career came full circle at R-STEM; she initially joined the District as a middle school reading teacher, transitioned to 4th grade at RIS, and remained there as the school evolved into R-STEM - teaching 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades before serving her final five years as the STEM Specialist.

This dedicated educator, who grew up moving before settling in West St. Paul, later earning credentials from Mankato State, Hamline, and St. Kate's, loves relaxing with her family and friends in her spare time, gardening, attending theater productions, and festivals. As she turns the page to retirement, Kathie is excited to travel, paint, and finally "tackle my tall stack of books that have been patiently waiting for me."

Thank you, Kathie, for 20 years of curiosity, literacy, and leadership in our schools. We wish you a peaceful, joyful retirement filled with nature, art, and endless good reads!

We are grateful to all of our retirees for their dedicated service and contributions to Richfield Public Schools. Each retiree featured on our website and social media channels was contacted individually and chose the level of recognition they preferred. Not all retirees opted to be recognized.
